Some Strength Exercises You
Must Do Daily
If you feel that lack of time is the main reason you do not exercise you are not alone. However it is important to get some exercise in these modern times when a major portion of our time is spent sitting, whether it is driving to work, sitting at the computer table or sitting down to eat. Sure, everyone is busy, but everyone needs to so some strength exercises to keep from growing old and feeble before time.
Here are some simple exercises one must do every day:
Any trainer worth his time will have you know that squats are the best strength exercises. You can workout your glutes, hamstrings, quads and calves all at the same time. You just need to stand with your feet as wide apart as your hips with your toes facing straight. Slowly lower yourself towards the floor all the time keeping your abdominal muscles pulled in tight and your torso straight. Do not bend your knees more than ninety degrees (they should be horizontal to the floor). Hold there for three seconds and slowly stand up straight. Do this fifteen times.
Just like squats, push-ups are compound strength exercises that work almost every muscle in the body. Your abs, chest, shoulders and triceps get the workout they need with the pushups. You will need to lie facedown on the floor supporting your body on your palms. You will need to raise your body pivoted on your toes and lower it down slowly. Do this fifteen to thirty times.
Lunges are among the great strength exercises as well. This exercise will work your glutes, calves and hamstrings. You will need to stand in a split position with one leg forward and the other leg back. Bend your knees and lunge your body down towards the floor. Keep the weight of your body on your heels you need to push your body back up again in a slow movement. Repeat this exercise about fifteen to thirty times.
If these strength exercises are done everyday for a minimum of twenty minutes there is no reason why one should feel tired and lethargic through the day.
